1. 直录语言要求，学校发出I-20

71 IBT, 530 PBT, or IELTS 6.0 with no subscore below 5.5

Upon receipt of official scores, Admissions will issue unconditional admission letter and I-20 for the bachelor’s degree for the next available semester. 

2. 双录语言要求，学校发出I-20

IBT 65-70, PBT 500-527, IELTS 5.5 (or a 6.0 with subscore(s) below 5.5)

Iowa State will review the application for admission.  If admissible, a conditional admission letter for the bachelor’s degree will be issued.  

3.  双录语言要求，但是I-20是由语言中心发出的，学校提供有条件录取信

IBT 55-64, PBT 477-497, IELTS 5.0

Iowa State will review the application for admission.  If admissible, a conditional admission letter for the bachelor’s degree and an I-20 Form for the Intensive English and Orientation Program will be issued.  

综上所述，获得Iowa state U I-20的最低语言要求是新托福55，雅思5.0

4.  学生录取后只会获得一封有条件录取信，语言中心也不会发I-20，学生在其他语言中心达到语言要求以后，再回到Iowa State U。只要录取政策没有发生大的变化，有条件录取信长期有效。

IBT <54, PBT <473, IELTS <4.5

Iowa State will review the application for admission.  If admissible, a conditional admission letter will be issued, but no I-20 Form.  Student may arrange for English training at another institution and/or to retake the TOEFL and/or IELTS.  Once they have achieved a higher score, they will follow the policy for either 1 or 2 above. 

5.  理论上没有语言成绩的学生，必须在提供语言成绩后学校才会作出决定，但如果学生被一所语言中心录取，并且需要有条件录取信的话，学校也可以提供。

No IBT, no IELTS

Applicants will be asked to provide an official English proficiency examination result before a decision is made on their application.  If the student is unable to provide a score, but gains admission to an intensive English program in the US and wants a conditional admission letter from us, we will provide it.
